As it turns out, the video curses that wreaked major havoc in the previous two installments were not the earliest incarnations of the fatal power possessed by Sadako. The hand of doom actually extends back as far as the 1950’s, when the curse had to manifest itself via open-reeled tape recorders.
When a reporter is struck down during a widely publicized demonstration of parapsychological power by one Yananura Shizuko, unnatural events begin occurring. One by one, every single journalist present at the event falls prey. As the 1960s draw to a close, the fiance of the first man to die is determined to find whoever, or whatever, is responsible and take her revenge. |
