| Director Jess Franco’s version of Richard Connell’s adventure story THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME, this time told with a heavy emphasis on violence. Bob and Moira live in a beautiful villa on an isolated beach, facing a strange modern house on an island. Living in the house is a bizarre couple, Count Rador and Countess Ivana Zaroff. Bob entices a friend of his, Silvia, to travel with Moira to visit the Zaroffs. She discovers to her horror that Bob and Moira are employed by the Count with the job of bringing victims to the island to be used as prey in a human hunt. Silvia is stripped and set loose in the dunes as the Countess, armed with bow and arrow, sets out to hunt her down. |
