| One of the last films from Italian filmmaker Sergio Bergonzelli who is best known for his many graphic and outrageous films. This thriller stars John Phillip Law as a crazed artist who uses human corpses in his pallet of colors. Reminiscent of the films “A Bucket of Blood” and “Color Me Blood Red,” the film depicts Law insanely painting with blood, believing he is the reincarnation of Van Gogh. He also seeks a young woman to fill the void left by his wife’s death and whose corpse sits at the piano in his stately castle. Law is assisted by his fateful butler, who supplies him with a steady stream of female bodies to use on his canvas. An extremely twisted and unique film. |
