With "Codename: Puma", Donnie Yen became the first Chinese filmmaker to be in creative control of a major German TV production. Puma was one of Germany's highest rated shows during the 1999 season.
Combat coach Josh Engel accidentally walks into the middle of a tense hostage situation. Terrorists have entrenched themselves in an impenetrable building, along with 30 hostages. They threaten to kill their prisoners if their ransom demands are not met. The situation seems hopeless until Engel - the Puma gets involved. He stealthfully makes his way through the building killing the terrorists one by one - building up to an explosive finale. |
